Alfa Romeo 4C in Fluid Metal at Frankfurt
When Alfa Romeo teased the Alfa 4C for Frankfurt a few weeks back with a dark photo (what’s new?) we did ask what they were playing at. Don’t misunderstand; we think the Alfa Romeo 4C is exactly the sort of car Alfa should be making. No, what puzzled us was, why the tease?
Remember the time Chevrolet built a dog-powered car? Yeah, neither did we. And we're not even sure if the Bowtie was behind this canine-powered contraption, dubbed the "Bow-Wow Buggy" by this Jam Handy film's unwaveringly enunciative narrator (could it be Jam Handy himself?).
As just about everyone else did, we ran the now-infamous Shelby 1000 wheel-lift photo on Tuesday. Shelby American's public-relations operatives have confirmed that the photo was digitally altered, and it has been removed from our site. We apologize for letting our enthusiasm for mind-blowing automotive feats of strength get the better of us.
